Just a couple more shots. The first two were from when we were cleaning out the pantry. The other one was from when she was having a snack and decided to sit on her high chair tray (which I had put on the floor for her to have her snack on).

Jocelyn is learning to feed herself with a spoon, but it is sometimes discarded for the use of her fingers instead. This morning, she had cereal mixed with banana, and this is how it turned out. (Believe it or not, quite a bit of it made it into her mouth.)

We were a month late getting these done, but I think it was worth it. She was so cooperative and they all turned out so well. I do love our local JCP portait studio. :) ( Photos )

Jocelyn had a really good birthday. She was teething a great deal earlier in the day, but after a little orajel, some Tylenol, and a nap early in the day, her mood improved dramatically. She never took her second nap, which is usually around 3:00, so I was worried that she'd not enjoy her party, which didn't start until 5:30, but I sure was wrong. She really had a great time, wasn't cranky a single bit until the end of the night, when it was past her bedtime. Perfect little hostess, she was.
We opened her presents first, she had fun playing with them with her cousin, Avery, and spent most of her time on this little toy house set that Ken's friends sent down for her. When it was time for cake, she was quite adorable. We were doing photos of her with the two cakes (big one for everyone, little one for her), and she decided to pull a bit of icing off of the big one, curious. That's how she was with the little one when it was her turn, as well, just dainty little grabs at the icing for the most part. She didn't eat much of it, was much happier with cheerios that I gave her while everyone else ate cake. She did seem to be intrigued by the 'squishiness' of the icing in her fingers, though.

We took Jocelyn in to have a few Christmas photos done, and a few '10 month' photos done, and they came out pretty well. She was struggling a bit, trying to be fussy, but the girl was great and got some really good shots. These are my favorites: ( Click! )
